I am stick to QB45 on DOS platform 486/Pentium.
But sometimes I wonder if I could try as a challenge QB1.1 with only interpreter. Or even GW Basic.
I am still stuck on the compiler qb45 and poke on videoram for faster pixels. But what if I was restricted to use onle PSET and LINE.
I remember an old 3d engine with flat objects running on 286, they would not use poke to vram, they would use LINE to draw horizontal scanlines to fill the polygons. It worked surprinsgly well.
