Super Solid Thu Mar 27 2008 at 9:13 am I can help you in viruses.....
If it was a boot-sector virus, it should run before it loads the user(XP)......If it wasn't a very powerful and it is non boot-sector..... your PC should have returned normal when you selected safe-booting. When you have already safe-booted your PC, delete the start-up entries of the virus. Then, restart your PC. Next, when you've restarted your PC, eventhough there are still viruses in it, your PC is safe from viruses. Viruses are in no harm when it is not running.....Lastly, you can scan your PC with Kaspersky(for better results)......poof the virus is gone....
APPLICABLE ONLY IN VERY NORMAL PC (e.g. w/o deep freeze)
OTHER WAY:
System Restore in XP.....
P.S.
Who in here do know what is the image name of the (Worm?/Trojan?) called Window.scr???????
