Plasma -- about FlatForum

There's a couple things that aren't working right in FF -- namely, links with section names in them (using the # character), anything with an @ symbol in it (for example, %$#@#*% is interpreted as an e-mail address, even though it's obviously not one), and lastly, and least importantly, the code is not standards-compliant. Of course, that's not a huge deal, but it ensures perfect rendering under browsers like Firefox, Opera and Safari. Also, you should embed links that use the & symbol so that they use & instead.

Yeah, yeah, I'm picky.

A couple cool features would be password-protected threads, flagging posts as important (which would change their appearance in the thread list) and some simple (very simple) markup code to allow stuff like bold, italic, underline, and lists and stuff.

This way, it'd still be the FlatForum I've come to know and love, but with features that I don't feel like implementing myself :-D
