Mr. Plasma & EMS tutorial
i have tried to make my own text editor using Random files but it's very slow for big files. so i have been trying to understand your tutorial about EMS in quickbasics. i would like to make you some questions.
(1) how faster would be to use EMS arrays instead of Random files? is it as fast as the RAM?
(2) is it real that using EMS it can be used 64 Megabytes as you said? that number sounded to me like a dream.
(3) is it someway possible to use the EMS that way without needing to have loaded Himem.sys and EMM386?
