The PHP behind most of the site was...

... becoming a humongous mess. Most of the code was left over from when I had just started programming in PHP, and it was causing a lot of problems with my newer code, as well as the big problem that it wasn't designed very well (structure-wise.)

I'm redoing most of the PHP, and my girlfriend laid out a new design, so it'll be our site, rather than just mine.

All of my pages will still be there, however, so anything you've grown accustomed to seeing won't suddenly disappear.
