no I never made a separate release
I don't remember what was changed but I think it was just minor stuff.
Linksleeve is now defunct so you should disable that. StopForumSpam looks like a possible replacement. Even without Linksleeve there isn't much spam here, only a few messages per month.
I haven't touched PHP in about 15 years myself...
