I tried to fix a DLP TV once

The huge pain in the ass it was to disassemble it was a big problem for a small workbench. It wasn't for anybody but myself; it was going in the garbage otherwise. I didn't succeed.

I've fixed tons of LCDs though. I can't believe how many TVs develop bad capacitors, but that's what you get when your capacitors come from the depths of Mao's Funland. 105 degree C rated my ass.

Oh, er, anyway, I don't know why, I just like razor-sharp and clearly-visible pixels. Big pixels. My monitors are 27", 1920x1080 so the DPI is fairly low. I just wish they had DisplayPort inputs. My laptop is matte but it was a steal for the price so I can't complain. I like HP ProBooks.

You used to be Plasma357, the number part after a gun, yeah? Forgive my foggy memory.
