using a script to create/delete crons and set permissions?

I would like to be able to set up file permissions and cron tabs automatically with PHP exec() command. (Ideally, the exec command is deleted/moved&renamed after it runs) I want to make it easy to set up my game on another server. (once I move it)

Any thoughts on this topic?
