Can't get admin to work

I just installed FlatForum 1.4 and I can't get the admin to work. The admin page shows just fine but if I click on a link it just takes me back to the login page and asks for the password. I have set all permissions to 777. The post page is working correctly. I cannot change my password or delete posts.
