I thought about implementing multiple forums in
SubForum, which is based on FlatForum (heavily based, although it shares no actual code with it.)
I never got around to it because it wasn't in my original plans for the code, and adding it ex-post-facto wouldn't be particularly fun.
Although, I'm assuming you could just change the forum reading and writing functions to default to a certain directory/database, and if there's a ?forum=id argument present in the URL, then use that argument to switch the directory/database from the defaults to something else.
Just a guess.
